Celebrate the Year of the Mouse at SM Supermalls

Welcome the festivities of the Lunar New Year 2020 at SM Supermalls this week at the "Year of the Mouse at SM." Filled with fun events and activities, SM Supermalls has the perfect weekend celebrations for you and your loved ones to kick off the new year!

"As we say goodbye to the end of an entire lunar calendar and usher in another year, we want to offer a fun and unforgettable celebration through eexciting surprises in time for Lunar New Year. " said SM Supermalls SVP for Marketing Jonjon San Agustin.

Kicking off the celebration is a series of meet-and-greet experiences with  Disney's Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, dressed up in ther cheongsam outfits, happened first at SM Megamall earlier. This is followed by sessions at SM Mall of Asia on January 24, SM City North EDSA on January 25, and SM City Bacoor on January 26. The meet-and-greet sessions are open to the public and free of charge.

Fans of all ages can also look forward to a special range of Mickey and Minnie products across apparel, footwear, bags, accessories, and toys. These collections are available at various pop-up stores in SM and in all SM Department Stores nationwide.

Kids can also get a chance to walk teg "Year of the Mouse at SM" runway on January 26 at the SM North EDSA The Block Atrium. A minimum single receipt purchase of PHP 2,000 of Mickey and Minnie Mouse products from The SM Store's Babies' and Kids' Wear departments entitles the kids of the customers to participate in the fashion show in the said date. Forecasts Fulfilled at Feng Shui Convention Preview

Do you know that the Year of the Metal Rat 2020 will be a year of new beginnings? And it did happen as Prime Minister May resigned in June of this year while Merkel left her party in December of 2018. This is just one of the forecasts revealed at the 2018 convention, she shared.  Forecast on business and economy, anything to do with restaurants, food, commissary or human consumption business will prosper thats why you see a lot of restaurants and food business in the malls.  Also healing business such as yoga prospered.

Ms. Allen continues, If you are born in the DAY or YEAR of the SNAKE then you are in CONFLICT with the YEAR of the BOAR. She cited famous personalities who passed away this year such as Gina Lopez and Eddie Garcia because both were born in the year of the Snake while Amalia Fuentes, who was born in the year of the Dragon, but her sign was in conflict with the month of October, which is the month of the Dog. This is the reason why praying, doing charity work and wearing your pampaswerte and pangontra is very important, she adds.

The press conference was a preview to the November 24 feng shui convention where, Ms. Allen will discuss forecasts on love, health, wealth, and career; ways on how to enhance the lucky sectors and downplay the unlucky sectors; meanings of special numbers; and how to tap your guide spirit.  She will also share how to have miracle mornings; how to create a wealth vase for 2020; how to do a vision board for 2020 and beyond; and reveal whats on your destiny chart for the Year of the Metal Rat.

2020 is considered a year of new beginnings and renewals because it is the year that the Chinese Zodiac has come full circle, with the Rat being the first sign from the 12 animals cycle.  The Year of the Metal Rat Year is seen to be a strong, prosperous, and lucky year, and is a great year for founding and evolving.  The years of the Rat are: 1912, 1924, 1936, 1948, 1960, 1972, 1984, 1996, 2008, 2020, and 2032.

Lastly, Ms. Allen cautions those born in the year which clashes with the animal sign of 2020, If you are BORN in the DAY or YEAR of the HORSE, then you are in CONFLICT with the Year of the RAT.
