A Bully-Free Christmas at San Jose Del Monte

Team Robes finally kicks-off the holiday season and culminates with the lighting of the San Jose Del Monte Christmas Tree. Congresswoman Rida and mayor Arthur Robes graced the ceremony together with City administrator Dr. Dennis Booth, city council and barangay officials.

Along with this year's theme, a bully free Christmas, San Jose Del Monte set up a 20ft. high Christmas tree filled up with pink bells, symbolizes the arrival of the season to proclaim the birth of Christ at the city hall plaza.

Congresswoman Rida and mayor Arthur Robes are very happy to celebrate and shower the love with their fellow San Josenos. They also had a bazaar that feature San Josenos cooperative.

Tanglawan ambassadors, Starstrucks season 7 final four, Kim De Leon, Shayne Sava, Allen Ansay Lexi Gonzales and Eat Bulaga Bae, Joel Palencia also joined the festivity.

It's another short and sweet afternoon with honorable Rida Robes. After her activities at San Jose Del Monte, ate Cong joined us at Misto, Seda Hotel for a quick chikahan moment.

She still looks fabulous with her casual attire (sobrang nagagandahan talaga me), simple white top and jeans. And chikahan turned interview started.

We asked updates and she's very happy to share all their projects especially the activities lined up for the Christmas season. San Jose Del Monte will have the Christmas Tree Lighting plus Misa De Gallo and traditional food like Bibingka, lugaw at tokwa with a 1-week bazaar featuring Cooperative. They will also launch the talented Tanglawan ambassadors.

Honorable Rida Robes shared that she's very thankful with all the people and departments that helping them Bulakenos achieved all the great facilities that will improved their lives. First, mayor Arthur that continue to give his best effort to served San Josenos. She also mention Philip Salvador and his brother helped Bulakenos. She's also very vocal that senator Nancy Binay supported sport complex for the youth and the convention centers for all the teachers and for all big congregation. Also secretary Mark Villar is a big help to them and paging senator Bato Dela Rosa, for the Philippine National building (hehehe).

It's so nice to see a public servant that really value and appreciate all the people that help her achieved their goals for San Jose Del Monte. San Josenos are very lucky to ate Cong, sana all!!?

Do you believe in saying, "Behind every successful man is a woman, behind her is his wife"? Well, I strongly believe in that and another proof is the team Robes of San Jose Del Monte. Meet Congresswoman Florida Robes also known as Ate Cong to her constituent.

Last week, Congresswoman Rida supported her husband at the awarding ceremony of Seal of Good Governance award from DILG at the Manila Hotel. She's very happy that finally they have the award and all departments of San Jose Del Monte worked for it.

According to her, one of their (Mayor Arthur) secret is 'communication'. They communicate well and she listens to her husband. And that is the great advantage of their team for San Jose Del Monte.

Watch out also for their more projects lined up especially this coming holiday season. They have their annual gift-giving and their attempt to Guinnes Book of World Records for the 'Biggest Lantern'.

San Jose Del Monte passed the 2019 Seal of the Good Local Governance

Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) formally awarded 63 units  (LGUs) of local government include Bataan, Bulacan and Tarlac.

Mayor Arthur Robes is very happy that finally they have the Seal of Good Local Governance after the long wait. This is another achievements to all San Josenos and it proved that mayor Arthur and his team are pursuing the good governance in San Jose Del Monte. Watch out for more projects as he aims to be recognize as the "Highly Urbanize City" soon.

What is Seal of Good Local Governance?

According to DILG, SGLG is a mechanism which aims to gauge the performance of LGUs and thereafter provide incentives to the awardees through monetary grants."

SGLG has seven areas for assessment namely Financial Administration, Disaster Preparedness, Social Protection, Peace and Order, Business Friendliness and Competitiveness, Environmental Management, and Tourism, Culture and the Arts. LGUs must pass these seven areas for them to be worthy of the seal.

Tanglawan Gallery now open at SM San Jose Del Monte

As part of 19th Cityhood Anniversary and 4th Tanglawan Festival, SM San Jose del Monte together with congresswoman Florida and mayor Arthur Robes formally open the Art Gallery.

Tanglawan Gallery is located at Basement 2, SM San Jose del Monte. It's feature artworks from new generation of local artists that was made on the spot last September at the mall atrium. The theme was "Kanlungan ng Bagong Pag-asa".

Mayor Arthur is very thankful that his wife initiates these kind of projects that will help their city boost as the rising city. He also announced that next year they plan to put up the Culture and Arts Building that aims to help and support their young artist for a brighter future in the city.

City government headed by Congresswoman Florida believe that these kind of project will play a big part in the vision of San Jose del Monte as the Rising city. Culture and Arts project will help San Josenos hone their talents.

Congresswoman Florida is also proud and thankful that his partner/husband share the same passion and love for the city. They have different projects and I can't wait to witness the opening of the first Milk Bank that will benefit all the mothers and children of San Jose del Monte.
